NUR 465 - Professional Role Transition (4 cr.)

Synthesis of core knowledge and skills necessary for professional practice. Exploration of role formation, transition, and continued professional development. Emphasis on future of professional nursing. Integration of skills for improved visibility and influence in complex systems. Practicum experience to enhance leadership and collaborative skills in working with members of the interprofessional health care team. Self-directed problem-based learning approach to career planning and professional advancement.
Prerequisite(s): NUR 350 , NUR 304 .
