NUR 304 - Health Assessment (3 cr.)


Assessment of clients across the lifespan through history taking and physical examination. This includes gathering data about general health, illness, symptoms, behaviors, pain and lifespan. Identify goals for client education related to specific risk factors and highlight lifespan, cultural, and environmental considerations. Documentation of data using a functional patterns framework to communicate information between and among health professionals involved in care of client. Application of nursing theory in assessment process.
