BIO 336 - Ecophysiology (3 cr.)


An introduction to the fundamental mechanisms of animal adaptation to environmental variables. The problems of size and scale will be investigated as they relate to central issues in comparative physiology. How animals cope with marine and terrestrial environments, including extreme environments will be considered. (Summer/Winter sessions online; once every two to three years Spring or Fall classroom).

Prerequisite(s): BIO 101  and BIO 102 .
