PHI 444 - Philosophy and Culture (3 cr.) Study of selected movements in contemporary Western philosophy, such as hermeneutics, poststructuralism, postmodernism, critical theory, and pragmatism, as analyses and critiques of culture. Emphasis on concepts of race, gender, sexuality, and class as they intersect with questions of identity, cultural practices and productions.
