EDU 371 - Psychological Foundations of Elementary Education (6 cr.) This course is the study of the nature of children from birth through early adolescence, including cognitive, social, emotional, moral, and physical development. Candidates explore group and individual differences, paying close attention to diversity for teachers and learners. Topics include the interconnection that exists in the teaching-learning process from various theoretical perspectives. The relationship between theory and practice is explored during a field experience. Prerequisite(s): EDU 330 . Corequisite(s): EDR 315 . Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring
