EDT 596 - Student Teaching: Special Education Grades 1-6 (3-6 cr.) In this field experience, Special Education candidates will demonstrate instruction skills and abilities by teaching individuals and groups. The candidate will plan, implement, and assess the results of instruction delivered in an educational setting appropriate for students with identified disabilities. The candidate will also participate in other duties that are typically performed by teachers in grades 1-6 educational settings. Students will complete 20 days of student teaching for each 3 credits earned. Prerequisite(s): EDS 537 Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring
