ART 357 - Latin American Art (3 cr.) This course addresses the diverse roles played by the visual arts in Latin America from the Colonial period into the middle of the twentieth century. Classwork places particular emphasis on painting and sculpture in Mexico and the Andean nations while individual student research projects expand the geographical and chronological scope.
