ART 161 - Introduction to Drawing (3 cr.) Introduction to Drawing teaches drawing concepts and skills through beginning-level drawing problems in line, shape, plane, form, space, tone, gesture, pictorial organization and content. The course develops personal expression and aesthetic, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic sensitivity. It examines form and content in works by great masters, past and present. The course requires both analytical and intuitive thinking with a variety of materials and subjects.
