CHE 440 - Analytical Techniques for Cannabis (4 cr.) This course will offer a comprehensive exploration of the methods and tools used to analyze the chemical composition, quality, safety, and potency of cannabis products. Through a combination of theoretical lectures, hands-on laboratory sessions, and practical applications, students will develop a deep understanding of the analytical techniques employed in the rapidly evolving cannabis industry. The course will focus on key aspects of sample preparation, chromatographic separation, spectroscopic analysis, and mass spectrometry, while also considering regulatory and ethical practices in cannabis analysis.
