THE 206 - Acting With the Voice (3 cr.)

This course exposes students to vocal training for voiceovers, the stage, screen, and public presentations. Students will learn different techniques in vocal production. The course includes an introduction to basic vocal anatomy, breath and bodywork, vocal resonance, range, and speech. Students will apply techniques to classic and contemporary monologues, scenes for stage and screen, voiceover copy, audition sides, and presentations.
