CHE 456 - Physical Chemistry with Laboratory II (4 cr.) The second semester of a two-semester sequence of physical chemistry for chemistry majors. Physical chemistry is predominantly concerned with the application of calculus to describe chemical systems. Emphasis in this second-semester course is on solution chemistry, electrochemistry, quantum mechanics, and spectroscopy. This is a lecture course with an accompanying laboratory component.
