ECO 309 - Intermediate Macroeconomics (3 cr.) The course presents the modern approach to macroeconomics, building up from the optimizing behavior of households and firms and their interactions on markets, using graphical and mathematical analysis. The course covers long-run economic growth, and short-run economic fluctuations, including the neoclassical and post-Keynesian approaches. It also looks in more detail at inflation, financial system and the labor market. Liberal arts Prerequisite(s): ECO 101 ,ECO 111 , MAT 221 , or MAT 224 Semester(s) Offered: Spring
