ECO 111 - Introduction to Macroeconomics (3 cr.)


A description of the ways in which economic policy are designed to improve human well-being, domestically and internationally. The course provides an overview of the market economy and its alternatives, an explanation and critique of national income measurement and determination, the banking system and the role of property and money in a modern economy, monetary and fiscal policy, unemployment and inflation, economic growth, international trade and comparative advantage.
