Curriculum 0046 Requirements

The Global Social Action certificate prepares students and practitioners to engage in and implement applied research and meaningful action related to international social development in a global context. For more information contact the Social Work Department .

Certificate Requirements 9 Credits

SWK 449 - Global Topics Seminar (1-3 cr.) - must be taken 3 times
SWK 450 - International Social Action and Policy Practice in a Global Context (3 cr.)
SWK 451 - Applied Global Social Action (3 cr.)
Note: This program is not directly eligible for federal or state financial aid. However, coursework within the program may qualify for aid if it counts as electives toward another aid-eligible degree program or is taken in addition to a full-time course load of 12 aid-eligible credits.
