Curriculum 0227/8015
The combined program in adolescence education (grades 7-12) leads to a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, and initial certification in Spanish. In addition to general education and undergraduate courses in the subject major, students in these programs take an undergraduate, field-based course in education during the sophomore year that introduces them to foundations of education and prepares them for classroom experience. Additional Degree Requirements
- A minimum grade of C in each course used to meet content area and cognate requirements.
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.75 in all required major courses (Major Departmental Requirements).
- Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in undergraduate courses.
- No grade lower than a B in required graduate education courses.
- Completion of all Undergraduate Degree Requirements, including General Education: The Cardinal Core Curriculum, elective courses if applicable, and a total of 150 credits minimum.
