General Education Requirements
Students must meet requirements for general education; see The Cardinal Core Curriculum for details. Certain courses that fulfill major or cognate requirements may also apply to general education.
Major Departmental Requirements 40 Credits
Psychology Upper-Division Requirement: (12 cr.)
Select four courses from the following: (at least two must be taken at SUNY Plattsburgh)
Electives 46-47 Credits
Certain major/cognate courses may also satisfy GE requirements thus increase elective credits accordingly.
Total Credits minimum 120
Additional Degree Requirements
- A minimum grade of C in PSY 101 , PSY 205 , and PSY 206 .
- Passing of the Psychology Senior Examination (PSY 408).
- A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 in all required major courses (Major Departmental Requirements).
- Completion of all Undergraduate Degree Requirements .
