General Requirements: 8 Credits

• CHE 101 - General Chemistry (4 cr.) or
• CHE 111 - Fundamental Principles of Chemistry I (4 cr.)

• CHE 112 - Fundamental Principles of Chemistry II (4 cr.)

Organic Chemistry: 4-5 Credits

Select one course

• CHE 240 - Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry (5 cr.) *
• CHE 241 - Organic Chemistry I (4 cr.)

Chemistry Electives: 7-9 Credits

Select two courses (at least one 4 or 5 credit laboratory course is required)

• CHE 242 - Organic Chemistry II (4 cr.)

• Any 300 or 400 level chemistry course except CHE 496  

Total Credits 19-22

Note:

*May not be combined with CHE 242 .

A minimum grade of C is required for each of the courses above to count toward the minor. Chemistry minor is not available to biochemistry majors.
