HDF 111 - Introduction to Human Services (3 cr.)

This course provides an overview of the knowledge, skills, ethical values, and practical experiences needed for entry-level positions in a wide variety of community and human service-related settings. The course is designed for students who desire to work with children, youth, and families. Students will learn to support clients in coping and solving important problems caused by personal, social, and environmental stress
