MUS 319 - Writing About Music (3 cr.) Writing-intensive course focusing on writing about various aspects of music: previews, reviews, program notes, book reviews. The course is primarily in seminar format, in which students provide peer critiques of each other’s work. Relevant writing, after peer critique and revision, appears in Cardinal Points campus newspaper. All students therefore become published authors before the end of the course. Liberal Arts Prerequisite(s): MUS 230 or POI Semester(s) Offered: Once every 1-2 years
