MGM 342 - Employment Law (3 cr.) This course is designed to provide a survey of the current employment laws in the United States, particularly the areas as hiring, job security, compensation, benefits, safety and health, employer rights, employee rights, privacy rights, collective bargaining and employment discrimination. It also covers the basic rights and protections for both employers and employees in a free market economic society and provides the framework for the history and development of employment law in the United States.
