CSD 531 - Language Disorders in Young Children (3 cr.)

This course examines the assessment and intervention of language disorders in infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Content includes family involvement, evidence-based practices, issues in communication, socio-emotional and cognitive development, challenges in learning and in the classroom for children with language impairments, collaborative teamwork, goal writing, plan development, language sample analysis, and multicultural considerations.
Prerequisite(s): Graduate students in speech-language pathology.
