THE 105 - Stage Costume (3 cr.)

This course provides an introduction to costuming and costume design for the theatrical and entertainment industries. Students will embark on a journey from conceptualizing designs on paper to bringing them to life on stage or screen. Essential skills in sewing and maintaining costumes will be taught, and students will have hands-on opportunities to work with performers and/or models. Additionally, the course will cover costume and clothing history, offering insights into the evolution of costumes throughout different eras.
