PHY 112 - General Physics II (4 cr.) The second part of a two-semester introduction to physics. The course provides a basic but unified and quantitative introduction to the experimental laws and fundamental principles of physics. The course includes thermal physics, electricity, magnetism, light, optics, atomic and nuclear models with the principles of special relativity and the quantum nature of matter and radiation integrated into the relevant portions of the topics.
