NUR 370 - Maternal Child Nursing I (4 cr.)

This course builds on theoretical foundations of nursing care, communication skills, and principles of health promotion with a focus on commonly occurring maternal and newborn variations. Students will utilize critical thinking as they provide care for maternal and pediatric patients in hospitals and community settings. This course includes lecture, clinical, and simulation experiences (2.5 didactic/theory, 1.5 applied learning).
Prerequisite(s): NUR 314, NUR 362.
