HDF 309 - Understanding Death, Dying, and Bereavement in Human Development (3 cr.) This course provides an overview of attitudes toward death, dying, and bereavement, including the reality and effects of death throughout the lifespan. Interdisciplinary influences on our understanding of death are explored, in addition to the role of human service professionals in working with individuals and families affected by death, dying, and the bereavement process.
