GEG 485 - Sustainable Communities (3 cr.)

This course will explore planning and design practices for developing sustainable communities, through several modules encompassing visioning for sustainable communities, useful technical tools, social cohesion, inclusiveness and equity, complete streets, strengthening community economies, food and nutrition, alternative energy adoption, green buildings, and others. Students will choose to work on different types of communities.
Liberal arts
Prerequisite(s): ENV 201 , GEG 121 , GEG 301 , GEG 307   and junior standing or POI.
