ENV 350 - Introduction to Geographic Information Systems and Mapping (3 cr.) Introduction to geographic information systems (GIS), map design, and ArcGIS Pro software. Students will learn best practices to prepare maps, store and retrieve spatial information, and perform basic analyses of spatial data to address current challenges in environmental science, planning, and management. Lecture and recitation. Prerequisite(s): Any lower level course within the Quantitative Reasoning category or sophomore standing or higher.
