CSM 422 - Strategic Information Security Management (3 cr.)

This course involves the foundational administrative controls necessary for implementing a strong information security program in organizations. Emphasis will be placed on the development of information security programs, access control models, and information security governance and strategy. Students will learn security standards such as the ISO 27000 series, COBIT 5 and security maturity models.
Prerequisite(s): MIS 302, CSM 412.
