CRI 344 - Homeland Security (3 cr.) This course introduces the phenomenon of modern homeland security in the U.S. and provides a solid foundation for understanding the nature of issues related to homeland security enterprise on federal, state, and local levels. It reviews the policies, procedures, and organizational reforms to prevent, protect against, respond to, and recover from man-made and natural disasters. In this course, the current risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, along with the preparedness, response, and recovery mechanisms, are also discussed.
