THE 193 - Theatre Health and Safety (3 cr.)

This comprehensive course combines essential training and knowledge for safe work practices in the live entertainment industry. OSHA 10 standards, fall arrest harness training, genie lift training, and sustainable practices are integrated. The course emphasizes a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks commonly encountered in the entertainment environment. Students will learn to develop and implement safe work strategies and habits to create a secure working environment.
