THE 103 - Stage Lighting and Sound (3 cr.)

This course provides the foundational knowledge and skill sets necessary for the installation and operation of stage lighting and sound equipment. Students will work with a variety of lighting and sound equipment, including LED, moving lights, handheld and wireless mics, and speakers. The course also covers the principles of electricity and acoustics as well as the design process so students are prepared for future production work in live entertainment.
