GWS 219 - Gender, Sexuality and Popular Culture (3 cr.) This course focuses on representations of gender and sexuality as they intersect with race, ethnicity, and class. Mediums include television, film, novels, music, and performance. This course teaches students to think critically about how gender and sexuality are constructed in popular culture from a feminist perspective.
