GEG 224 - World Regional Geography (3 cr.)

This course introduces the world’s major regions through their environmental settings, historical and cultural backgrounds, political and economic systems, and contemporary issues in the globalization process. Each world region is extremely dynamic and encompasses a great deal of diversity, while still having much in common. We will examine both the continuity and diversity within and across world regions, and their interactions, including trade, economic development and cooperation, and conflicts.
