EXP 384 - Ice Climbing II (3 cr.) EXP384 teaches the concepts and practices that are required for use of artificial protection in top-rope construction and participation in multi-pitch ice climbs. The process of becoming a safe, capable, and responsible “second,” requires complete understanding of the multi-pitch process. Successful completion of EXP384, including a skills competency test, prepares students to assume the role as lead ice climbers. Prerequisite(s): EXP 183 , EXP 380 , and POI.
