EDU 325 - Methods of English Language Arts (6 cr.)

This course provides fundamental experience in English Language Arts (ELA) pedagogy as described by current research and practice. Aligned with New York State ELA Learning Standards, it will focus on building a foundation for the teaching, learning and assessment of reading, writing, listening and speaking at the elementary school level. (Minimum of 25 hours of clinical experience.)
Prerequisite(s): EDU 240  or equivalent; matriculation in B.S. Childhood Education/ B.S./M.S.Ed Childhood Education and Special Education.
