EDT 598 - Student Teaching in Special Education Grades 7-12 (3-6 cr.) In this field experience, Special Education candidates will demonstrate instruction skills and abilities by teaching individuals and groups. The candidate will plan, implement, and assess the results of instruction delivered in educational settings appropriate for students with identified disabilities. The candidate will also participate in other duties that are typically performed by teachers in grades 7-12 educational settings. Students will complete 20 days of student teaching for each 3 credits earned. Prerequisite(s): EDS 539 for students enrolled in the Special Education MSEd degree program Corequisite(s): EDS 539 for students enrolled in the Special Education - Grades 7-12 certificate program Felony Questionnaire Required Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
