CRI 352 - White Collar Crime (3 cr.)


This course examines and explores white-collar crime in American society, with particular emphasis on the crimes of large organizations and trusted individuals. Various case studies will be examined to illustrate different aspects of white-collar crime. These include the explanation of corporate and governmental crime, the costs and consequences of white-collar crime, its social and legal control, recent trends in white-collar crime enforcement, and research strategies for studying white-collar crime.
