CMM 226 - Introduction to Human Communication (3 cr.) This course is an introduction to the discipline of communication, its history from the ancient rhetorical tradition to the present, and the process of communication inquiry. It is designed to be a survey of the basic principles and theories of communication, including: perception, verbal and nonverbal processes, listening, interpersonal and small group communication, intercultural communication, organizational communication, and mass media.
