ENG 386 - Screenwriting (3 cr.) This course focuses on the methods and techniques of writing scripts for filmed media, feature-length films, in particular. Readings will be from contemporary screenplays, and discussions and class exercises focus on what makes these scripts effective. Assignments help familiarize students with the structure of movie scripts and give them the appropriate tools to build their own full-length scripts. Liberal Arts Prerequisite(s): ENG 101 and ENG 186 , or POI Semester(s) Offered: Every Other Spring
