ENG 101 - College Writing II (3 to 4 cr.)


Extensive practice in writing and revising through multiple drafts, promoting critical thinking and yielding coherent college-level texts. A minimum of four out-of-class formal assignments, one of which will be an autoethnographic research project (at least 3750-5000 words or 15-20 pages of finished copy for all four combined). An annotated, substantive revision of the autoethnography. Students must earn a grade of C (2.0) or better in ENG l0l to meet graduation requirements.
Liberal arts
Prerequisite(s): ENG 100   with a grade of C or better; or Directed Self-Placement by questionnaire; and, LIB 190   pre- or corequisite, or sophomore standing.
