CHE 101 - General Chemistry (4 cr.) An introduction to chemistry with emphasis on the important principles and facts necessary for a comprehension of how chemistry is related to the health of an individual and that of the community/world at-large. Topics include the structure of matter, elements, molecules, chemical reactions, gases, solutions, chemical calculations, and the ethical standards of responsible scientists. NOTE: This course is NOT intended for Biology Majors. Students may not take both CHE101 and CHE 111 for credit.
