MAT 101 - Elementary College Mathematics (3 cr.) Designed to strengthen student’s background in elementary algebra and to prepare them for further work in mathematics. Topics include a review of arithmetic concepts using elementary algebra, algebraic expressions, linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, absolute value, systems of equations, and functions (linear, quadratic, exponential, logarithmic). Students will not receive credit for MAT 101 if they received credit for a precalculus or calculus course. Liberal arts Semester(s) Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
