SOC 355 - Sociology of Law (3 cr.) The course explores the nature of law and develops an understanding of law as a social institution from a variety of sociological perspectives. The functions and forms of law are analyzed in relation to changes in cultural, economic, and political conditions as well as various forms of inequality. Liberal arts Prerequisite(s): SOC 101 .
