HIS 326 - History of Modern Britain 1600 - Present (3 cr.) This course will present the history of the United Kingdom as a group of different nations that retained unique social identities in spite of political and economic union. Political, social, economic and global aspects will be studied in parallel to understand both the development of Great Britain as an imperial and industrial power and the decline of that power in the twentieth century. Liberal arts Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing.
