ENV 451 - Advanced Topics in Geographic Information Systems (3 cr.)


Advanced Geographic Information System (GIS) methods and contemporary issues are explored. Topics include Web and smart phone applications, geodatabase principles, Python programming for GIS, raster modeling, network analysis, and decision support models. Students will use ESRI ArcGIS and other software as appropriate.

Prerequisite(s): ENV 350  /GEG 350  Introduction to Geographic Information Systems with a grade of C or better. ENV 419  GIS Applications recommended.
