PSY 331 - Introduction to Biopsychology (3 cr.) A survey of biological components of behavior. The course assumes that evolution by natural selection applies to both biological and ecological components of behavior. Physiological mechanisms covered include those that relate to motivation and learning. Ecological considerations include the behaviors involved in the solution of ecological problems such as food, shelter, mates and predator avoidance. Liberal arts Prerequisite(s): PSY 101 .
