BIO 346 - Human Physiological Adaptation (3 cr.) Evaluation of current concepts and literature regarding the human physiological response to both environmental (heat, cold, altitude, etc.) and exercise stress. Both acute and chronic adaptations will be examined as well as discussion of the theoretical limits to human physiological adaptation. Some students in the course will voluntarily engage in a multi-week exercise program. Liberal arts Prerequisite(s): BIO 327 or BIO 421 . Semester(s) Offered: Fall or Spring
