French Language & Culture Immersion

This program prepares students to communicate at the intermediate or above level in French and to apply these language skills in an immersive experience in a French speaking location. Students complete language coursework prior to a 3 or 5 week experience abroad. The immersive experience includes linguistic and sociocultural activities designed to provide opportunities to increase language and culture fluency. The microcredential will enhance the ability to understand cultural values, increasing skills for those who will work across borders and cultures.

This microcredential is available to students who are matriculated at a SUNY institution and meet eligibility requirements of the institution hosting the immersive experience.
