Microcredential Requirements 7 Credits
With the recent legalization and acceptance of recreational and medical cannabis nationwide, the cannabis industry is rapidly growing into a multibillion-dollar enterprise, opening doors to many jobs in quality control and chemical and biological analysis, sales, farming, health care, research, and medical treatment. The basics of Cannabis micro-credential will provide a foundation knowledge on the science and social impact related to cannabis industry. This web-based level I micro credential will provide a brief overview of the phytochemistry of the cannabis as well as the multidisciplinary aspects of the cannabis industry. The completion of this level I will allow the students to continue their studies by moving to level II micro-credential or to a certificate in Cannabis Chemistry or Therapeutics. |
