Additional Degree Requirements


All education majors and students seeking to enter an education program, must meet the following eligibility requirements for ALL education programs

  1. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher to enter and remain in the program. Education majors with a cumulative GPA below 3.0 will be reviewed by the Education Department Academic Progress Committee for possible dismissal from the major.

  2. A grade of B or better in all required education courses in order to continue the program.

  3. Minimum grade of C in all conditions courses.

  4. All education and conditions courses all must be satisfactorily completed prior to Student Teaching.

  5. Successfully conduct themselves professionally at all times.

  6. Demonstrate professional ethical behaviors.

  7. A minimum overall GPA of 3.0 in all required major courses.

Note:


This program is not directly eligible for federal or state financial aid. However, coursework within the program may qualify for aid if it counts as electives toward another aid-eligible degree program or is taken in addition to a full-time course load of 12 aid-eligible credits.
